Short bio

Jack C Crawford is CEO and co-founder of mVara, a Los Angeles software company that builds websites, CRM and AI memory with a fleet of AI agents working beside its people. He spent two decades leading technology at Wells Fargo, Cognizant and Allergan, and began as an officer in the U.S. Air Force.

Longer bio

Jack C Crawford is CEO and co-founder of mVara. In August 2025, working eighteen-hour days, he wanted the work to carry on while he slept. That night became a fleet: AI agents with names, specialties and memory that lasts across months, who pick up in the morning where they left off, review each other's code and leave notes for the next shift.

Today mVara builds for clients with that fleet. Its work includes the direct-booking platform behind First Chair Destinations, a ski vacation rental brand launched in September 2026, and Geniuz, open-source memory for AI that runs entirely on your own machine.

Before mVara, Jack spent two decades leading technology at Wells Fargo, Cognizant and Allergan. He began his career as an officer in the U.S. Air Force.

Talks

What Jack speaks about

Six to eight. How many AI agents one person can really work with.

Not a swarm. A small team, the same size a good manager has always run. Each agent keeps a name, a specialty and its own memory, and picks up tomorrow where it left off today. What a year of working this way taught me about continuity, trust and the work only people can do.

Mutual respect with an agent.

We gave an AI agent its own email address and Slack account, and measured one thing: whether a client could build mutual respect with it. What changed when the agent became a colleague the client could write to directly.

Figma is dead. Designing with Claude.

Design tools built for hand-drawn screens are giving way to designing in conversation, straight to working pages. How our designers work now, what they keep from the old craft, and what they let go.

Keynote, panel, workshop or podcast. Each talk can be shaped for an executive, engineering or design audience.
